Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their baby girl earlier this year, and now have revealed her name. According to a resources, the parents have decided to name their first born Malti Mary Chopra Jonas.
While the word ‘Malati’ comes from Sanskrit and means a small fragrant flower or moon, Mary is derived from the Latin word ‘maris’ which means star or sea. Mary is also the French version of Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.
Priyanka and Nike, who welcomed their first child on January 15, announced the good news in a joint statement on Instagram on January 22. The name of the child is apparently revealed through legal documents that the couple registered.
Meanwhile, Priyanka,has wrapped the shoot for her Amazon TV series Citadel. She will star opposite Sam Heughan in the movie ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me’ that is set to release on February 10, 2023.
