Today, many places in Gujarat experienced cloudy weather and light to medium showers, which is completely in line with the meteorological department’s forecast for next 24 hours. It is believed that the state will experience rains throughout the summer. Some regions might even have heavy rains.
Although these rains might offer some relief from scorching sun, it has left the farmers anxious. Unseasonal and unexpected rains might harm the crops and ruin the yields. Shortage of crops is a serious situation for the state.
Rajkot, Gadodar, Dwarka and Gir as well as Somnath are seeing cloudy weather, cold winds and rains as well. Similar weather has been seen in areas of Junagadh, Rajkot, Jetpur since early this morning.
Bhavnagar district have been hit by cold, strong wind blowing from the north-west of Gujarat.
