In GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Punjab National Bank (PNB) is launching an international banking unit. PNB’s Managing Director and CEO, Atul Goel, officially opened the branch on April 9, 2022. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Vibha Aren, General Manager of International Banking, Binay Kumar Gupta, Zonal Manager-Gujarat, and other banking officials.
PNB has opened this branch intending to grow by great strides because the opportunities for business at GIFT City are endless. Gandhinagar branch will ensure that PNB meets the demand of customers outside India. It will also deal with cross-border financial flows, financial goods, and services.
Goel said that creating this branch would enable our customers to have more possibilities for doing international business transactions, particularly in the financing, commerce, and global markets.
Chairman of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), Injeti Srinivas, congratulated PNB on its fresh beginning and expressed his desire to be a part of its growth engine. Goel addressed the gathering, assuring the best services from the newly built unit.
