Chinese state-sponsored hackers have targeted Indian electricity distribution centers near Ladakh in recent months, according to a report released by private intelligence firm Recorded Future on Wednesday. The report comes after months of military standoff between the two countries.
According to the report, the intelligence firm observed network intrusions were observed in state load dispatch centers which are responsible for carrying out real-time operations for grid control and electricity dispatch of seven Indian companies.
As per the report targeting by Chinese has been concentrated on locations in North India. Important to note here is that India is having border disputes with China.
