Around 8:30 P.M. on Sunday, a patrolling BSF team saw two Pakistani fishing boats moving close to border pillar number 1164.BSF spotted around 4-5 Pakistani fishermen near border pillar number 1160 in the Harami Nala area.
The BSF patrol party immediately reached the scene after crossing the swamps and nalas on foot. Seeing this, the Pakistani men got alarmed. They took advantage of the marshy plains and escaped the scene, said BSF in a statement.
Nothing suspicious got confiscated from the boat. The only items present were fish, fishing equipment, and nets. After this happened, BSF conducted an intensive search in the area.
BSF often notices Pakistani fishermen with their boats at Harami Nala creek, which separates India and Pakistan and is an attraction for fishermen from the neighboring country.
