In Ahmedabad, a candlelight vigil was held in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. Many people gathered outside IIM-A to show their support for the people of Ukraine.
Over a month has passed since Russia invaded Ukraine, and the humanitarian crisis there continues.
The vigil was for world peace, public sovereignty, harmony, and to ‘Stand with the people of Ukraine’. It took place on the footpath in front of the Indian Institute of Management residence gate, from 18:45hrs-19:30hrs on Saturday, March 26th, 2022.
People from all walks of life gathered there to show their support to Ukraine. The vigil shared songs and poetry communicating the woes and the terrors of war and the need to re-imagine a future of peace and brotherhood.
