On Friday, he was finally nabbed in a swoop down special operation carried out by the crime branch. A robust team of 40 officials were part of the mission to nab the notorious criminal, booked twice under GUJCTOC law. A secret room, behind the showcase in the living room at his house, served as the hiding place.

The crime branch readied its team at 1 pm on Friday based on a tip-off about Sajju’s co-ordinates. From the outside, the main door of the ground plus five-storey building was closed.
