A new Science City will be established in Vadodara on lines of the hugely popular Science City in Ahmedabad. The announcement was made by state revenue minister Rajendra Trivedi, during the “Sujlam Suflam Jal Abhiyan” project launch at Ajwa in Vadodara.
The first infotainment park of its kind in Ahmedabad has been a crowd-puller. While its sci-fi dynamics has attracted science lovers across ages, the area itself is known as a leisure spot. This second series in looking at re-creating the same magic. The project will be implemented at a cost of Rs 100 crore.
“As a means of fostering an interest in science among students, we proposed this venture. We hope the country can further the feats of top scientists like APJ Kalam,” stated the minister, informing that the project has received a go-ahead from the chief minister.
The inaugural Ahmedabad chapter boasts one-of-its-kind rides such as Earthquake Experience Ride, Robotic Gallery, 5D Theater, VR Ride, Thrill Ride, Mission to Mars Ride and a 4D Theater.
