On Tuesday, Dubai inaugurated the museum of the future, a structure it endorses as the world’s most beautiful building. The museum is seven-storey hollow silver ellipse decorated with arabic calligraphy quotes from dubai’s ruler. Also it takes pride of place on Sheikh Zayed road, the city’s main highway. The building’s striking front was lit up by a colorful laser light show in the evening because the crowds gathered outside caught a glimpse.
The museum was officially inaugurated by Dubai’s Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum. His vision of the future has been credited as the driving force behind the museum.
The content of the museum is not revealed yet. It will exhibit design and technology innovations. Also giving the ‘Journey To The year 2071’ to visitors, is what the organizers stated.
It is just minutes away from the Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest construction. Roadside hoardings described the grand opening.
The museum is the latest addition to the UAE and is a collection of flashy architecture and comes after the $7 billion Expo world fair, featuring a swathe of futuristic designs, opened on dubai’s outskirts on september 30.
The capital of UAE Abu Dhabi is home to another landmark design, a branch of France’s Louver museum whose license was extended by a decade last year, 2047, at a cost of 165 million euros.
After the French President Emmanuel Macron opened the Louvre Abu Dhabi in late 2017 it attracted nearly two million visitors in its first two years before COVID-19 hit.
