On Wednesday, following continuous snowfall in Kashmir, all flights and all airlines have been canceled at the Srinagar airport. In all there are more than 40 domestic and international flights that were canceled.
The airport authorities said that snow clearing operations were taken up and being done efficiently. They have snow control room from where they can monitor the snowfall and also alert regarding snow storm. The room is also equipped with providing emergency directives in case they are required.
The authorities also assured, that the passengers of the canceled flight would be adjusted in available flights when the weather allows. The weather is expected to improve in the next 24 to 30 hours.
