Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport of Ahemdabad, also known as (SVPI) has now opened a new general aviation terminal. It will welcome passengers from private flights as well as non scheduled operaters.
The general aviation terminal is spread across a 12,000 sq ft space. Out of the total area, 4500 sq ft consists of the terminal building. A Spacious passenger lounge, duty-free, personal concierge services common processing area with Customs and Immigration, immediate access to private jet aircraft – are some of the facilities at the terminal.
The new terminal will help save the time of commercial and private flights as they will not have to compete for taxing slots. A dedicated team will be working round the clock to cater to the passenger’s needs.
SVPI on average gets seven private flights daily. Now with a dedicated terminal, passengers will experience a hassle-free travelling experience. The terminal has all modern facilities like a thermal scanner and a Covid testing lab.
