The team of Surat SOG on Thursday arrested a 19-year-old BBA student for selling hashish. This accused student was a frequent visitor to Himachal Pradesh. He mostly travelled via train and on his way back home he used to carry hashish from Himachal Pradesh. This son of a textile merchant used to sell hashish to his friends.
According to the Police Officials, this student of BBA used to visit Himachal Pradesh often and was into selling hashish to his friends. On the input received by the Surat SOG, Vesu resident, and son of a textile merchant was caught by the team of Surat SOG with 997 grams of hashish, worth Rs.4.98 lakh.
After the police busted the network of drug peddlers who used to run their drugs cartel from Himachal Pradesh, some new drug peddlers had emerged. The team of Surat SOG received input that one youngster who travelled to Himachal Pradesh was carrying hashish in his travelling bag.
The team of Surat SOG was keeping a close eye on the area near Surat Railway station- between Aryuvedic Garnala and Kabir Hotel. 19 year old accused Vansh R. Bansal was caught by the Surat LCB with a total of 997 grams of drugs worth Rs. 4.98 lakh.
According to police sources, the accused boy’s father is a textile merchant and runs a shop in Millenium Market of Surat. Accused used to visit Himachal Pradesh often and bring with him, hashish, for his consumption and his friends.
