A day after the state reported a decrease in daily covid cases, it saw a marginal increase in the daily covid cases as a daily tally stood at 367. For the past few days, covid numbers in the state have decreased.
New covid cases have marginally increased to 367 from 347 reported on Monday, a marginal increase of 20 cases within a day.
Monday saw the daily covid deaths at 4 in the state, which remained the same on Tuesday. These deaths were reported from Vadodara 2, Bharuch 1 and Porbandar 1.
The number of active cases in the state is 3925. A total of 36 people in the state are on a ventilator.
While Ahmedabad city remained the most significant contributor with 157 cases, other major contributors include Vadodara with 56 cases, Vadodara rural with 31 cases, Banaskantha with 14 cases, Gandhinagar with 12, and Anand with 8 cases. These six regions accounted for 70% of the Covid cases recorded today.
