When Gujarat is already seeing a surge in daily Covid-19 Cases and the state shows concerns regarding corona spread among children. Gujarat has recently recorded the deaths of 2 children due to Covid-19 – one in Surat and the other in Vadodara.
The highest amount of cases are been noted in Ahmedabad and Surat. The rising number of cases has caused panic among citizens and kids. Parents are worried about their kids especially after the state witnessed 2 deaths of baby girls.
The 6-month-old baby from Surat got infected by Covid from her parents who were Covid positive. While the other 3-year-old kid from Vadodara was undergoing treatment for Malaria. She was then infected from covid and has died during treatment in the hospital.
The state has recorded 16617 cases in the last 24 hours with 19 deaths. Ahmedabad has recorded 8,819 – the highest number of cases so far. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has been taking stricter steps to improve the situation and has added 47 more micro containment areas to the city.
