As many as 13 candidates from Gujarat cleared the civil services examination, results of which were announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday. A total of 761 candidates have been recommended for appointment.
Shubham Kumar, B.Tech in civil engineering from IIT Bombay has topped the list while Jagriti Awasthi, a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from MANIT, Bhopal is the topper among the women candidates securing overall 2nd rank.

Gujarat: Civil Service exam results
- Out of total 14 candidates; 11 were male pass-out candidates and three female candidates.
- 13 candidates prepared from SPIPA institute.
- Category-wise five passout candidates are from the General category, three from OBC, five from SC.
- 11 students opted for English language while three candidates chose Gujarati as their medium for mains and interviews.
